Three different routes.
On this page I will show three spaces (computer modelled) that are exactly the same, the only difference is the route leading to that space. What I hope to prove with that is: The route that leads to a space largely determines the identity or atmosphere of that space.
The three spaces and routes are depicted in these plan-views:

The first one is an example of a direct route, no obstacles or distractions.
The second space is an example of an indirect route, a corner is introduced.
The third space is an example of a complex route, with a corner and a distraction.
